I've been wondering how real are the real cider deserts in the UK. We
have some areas with few or no known outlets, but to what extent does
this represent the geographical distribution of members of the group=20
who contribute to the online cider pub guide
http://ukcider.co.uk/wiki/index.php/Cider_Pub_Guide

and how well does it reflect the real situation in the counties?

A crude statistical analysis (done a few weeks ago) indicated the
following areas as having the least number of entries.

Scotland 0
Lincolnshire 1
Northamptonshire 2
Sussex 2
Yorkshire 2
Shropshire 3
Staffordshire 3
Surrey 4
Norfolk 4
Essex 4

And if we seperated Bedfordshire out from Bucks and Herts it would be
amongst the 3s on that list as well.

Can a few of us come to the aid of these flagging areas by suggesting
cider pubs or other outlets we may know of?
