Six + 1 so far
That makes six of us so far from here who have indicated an intention, which makes it viable I would think. I'll probably start asking around in the mailing lists now as well, since time is getting on for registration. Here's the link again http://www.scu.edu.au/schools/gcm/ar/areol/areolsub.html Yes. Who else? I very much like the idea of having a group with a CoP focus at AREOL. I'll enrol myself and I have already recruited one of my co-researchers as it fits in well with what I'm trying to investigate and crystalise. It would be great if some of the people who have been taking part here (including lurkers) might indicate an interest, the commitment is really quite low, but for a longer period. There is no fee. We do need some more names to make sure it will be viable to have a dedicated group. Who's up for it? Registering for AREOL Thanks for the alert Giorgio, the timing for the start of this email course is ideal, coming after a short break after the end of this conference. Bob was a featured guest in my learning community for one of the best sessions there, and his advice is always friendly and practical. I was a little confused by the registration instructions, but I think I've got it now. Go to http://www.scu.edu.au/schools/gcm/ar/areol/areolsub.html Answer the questions by sending an email to bdick@scu.edu.au and then the email address you send it from will be used to subscribe you to the course email list. It might be an idea to also mention that you heard about it via Giorgio Bertini at the CPsquare web2.0 conference. CoP and AR group at AREOL. Andy Roberts- , CPsquare Web 2.0 Conference Guest invitation and publicity I'm glad the start of this isn't quite so urgent. So far I have registered myself and also sent Bob a list of who I am expecting to register with us so far. That's 9 names. I've put an invitation and explanation on my blog also, which can be developed further. http://distributedresearch.net/blog/?p=61 Posting to com-prac was also mentioned, I haven't done that yet - anyone? |
