Alders Brook is a quiet path of nature between a cemetery and a golf course. Situated right at the top end of the borough, it's a back door into Newham.

I often walk along and enjoy the changing scenery, but on this occasion I spent some time lingering, watching and waiting. The burnt-out abandoned cars had been taken away just previous to filming, but a few weeks later one had been dumped right in the brook. Caught in an inbetween state of mind, I make a cup of tea, prepare lunch and contemplate space.
